Insurance Companies Now Attacking Firearms Stores

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

We have had credit card companies run by several banks refusing to process credit cards from firearms stores. Now insurance companies appear to be joining he attacks against the Second amendment. State Farm just sent a letter on May 18, 2018 to Alex Pro Firearms in Alexandria Minnesota cancelling their existing insurance policy.

The letter states:

State Farm Fire and Casualty Company is unable to provide the coverage you requested in your application because:

– We don’t provide coverage for businesses engaged in manufacturing firearms.

As a result, your policy will be cancelled effective June 26, 2018 at 12:01 a.m.

Although this did not happen in California, it won’t be long before we see this here.

California has been trying to pass laws requiring individuals to carry insurance if they own any firearms. This could mandate that individuals pay excessive premiums many would not be able to afford.

But excessive fees may be a moot point if insurance companies won’t sell individuals policies to begin with. This is just another way for the gun-banners to defeat firearm ownership by persuading companies to cut ties with pro-2A companies and organizations.

See the letter below that they posted on their Facebook page.
