Threat to Los Altos Rod and Gun Club! Tues Oct 27th!

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Here  we  go again!  It’s  bad  enough the Bloomberg drones are trying  to shut  down gun stores.   Now they are  trying to shut down places to go  shooting. A carpetbagger  moved into the area  around the Los Altos Gun Club….. and now they want the County of  Santa Cruz  to zone them out of  existence.

CALLING  ALL GUN OWNERS….  YOU NEED TO STAND UP AND FIGHT IF   YOU WANT TO HAVE A  SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHT !

Fellow SF Bay Area shooters…
Los Altos Rod & Gun range (~2mi S of Hwy 9/Hwy 35 junction) is having problems with their new neighbors who are either trying to shut the range down entirely, or attempting to drastically curtail the range’s operating hours.

There’s a meeting with the Santa Cruz Board of Supervisors:

DATE  AND TIME: 9AM on Tues 27th Oct where this will be discussed

ADDRESS: 701 Ocean St, Santa Cruz, CA 95060 5th floor

If you can attend the meeting in support of the range, that would be great. Also, if you are in contact with people who have used that range in the past [but who might not be on range’s email list] please make sure they know about this issue.

The following is the information supplied by the good folks at Los Altos Rod & Gun:

“The Santa Cruz Board of Supervisors is holding their meeting on Tues Oct. 27 starting at 9:00am, re: Los Altos Rod & Gun Club.

Some neighbors are trying to get the Board to either shut down or drastically cut back on the range based on “noise” and environmental issues.

> – We need people to show up in support of the range.
> – We need people to talk up the range & tell how much they like shooting there and how safe and well run it is, family oriented, etc.
> – We don’t need to talk about pro vs. anti-gun issues,  but just about how much the range is appreciated.  (!!)

> With the attacks on Chabot and other ranges, we can’t afford to let our ranges be attacked and shut down.
